A new vacation rental property for the summer 2025 season. Astrid Log cabin located a stone throws from the west entrance of Glacier national Park. With less than a 20 minute drive to the scenic going to the sun road, 15 minutes from downtown city of Columbia Falls and 25 minutes from Kalispell Glacier International Airport. Enjoy the perfect location to visit GNP, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and all that Flathead Valley has to offer while offering solitude and privacy in the Montana mountains.
The Astrid cabin offers a true Montana mountain getaway experience. Relax in this authentic log cabin while listening to the rumbling creek below. Enjoy the seclusion from neighbors and traffic. The Astrid cabin is a tri-level home.
Upon entering this property, you will enjoy the newly remodeled modern kitchen with newer appliances, ceiling to floor windows overlooking the mountains and creek, open floor plan to the living room with your every day needs including laundry and guest bath on the main level. Follow the split log stairs to the upper large loft bedroom with king bed and private full size bath with walkin shower. The master gives you sweeping views from the living room large windows, electric fireplace and large smart tv.
The lower level of the home greets you with a cozy space to read, watch movies or just send the kids for some quiet time. This space also offers one private bedroom with one queen bed and one sleeper sofa in the lower entertainment room. You will also find a modern remodeled full size bathroom.
Should the nights get extra cool, you can fire up the woodburing stove downstairs to heat the home. Starting a fire in the woodstove is not always necessary as the property has electric heat for those cooler days and nights.
A fire pit and Gas BBQ are available for you to enjoy.
Our property sleeps no more than 6 guests max. Please note, we adhere to the reservation total guest at time of reservation.
We do not allow pets on property or smoking inside.
Please note: Montana can become very dry and cause us to be in High Fire Danger. Our fire pits and woodstoves are not guaranteed to be available due to these constant changing conditions. Please inquire with us prior to your arrival should you have any questions about our fire pit availability.

At time of reservation, we do require reserved guest to sign a rental agreement. Our confirmation email will include the link to the agreement from Glacier View Vacation Rentals.
